The 2010 KZNMCC Conference is hot on schedule. The number of Platinum Sponsorships has increased this year. The weekend has been fully taken up in terms of the exhibition stands, workshops and speaker slots.
Ethics evening will address a number of issues aimed at teasing out Human Rights and the Withholding Essential Medical Care by medical aid guidelines and control. We hope to discuss the effect of the competition laws as it relates to healthcare.

This trend appears to be the precursor to the NHI and many private healthcare groups are gearing themselves to prove to the DOH that they can manage the NHI so that they may vie for the management contracts.
